    The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) has temporarily waived, on its own motion, its rule stating that service providers may only age disconnected residential telephone numbers for 90 days before reassigning them.  The waiver is initially in effect for areas impacted by wildfires in California and Oregon.
