    The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has taken further steps in its attempts to protect the nation’s communications networks from potential security threats.  The FCC’s recent action seeks to integrate provisions of the recently enacted Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act of 2019 (Secure Networks Act) into the FCC’s existing supply chain rulemaking proceeding.  First, the FCC adopted a Declaratory Ruling finding that, in its 2019 Supply Chain Order, it fulfilled its obligations under the Secure Networks Act.
