As required by the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act of 2019 (Secure Networks Act) the FCC adopted rules that: require ETCs to replace covered equipment and services; provide that smaller carriers will be subsidized through the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks reimbursement program (Reimbursement Program) to be established by Congress; establish procedures for identifying covered equipment and more.
